| We
are very fortunate to have a loyal group of businesses who support the
Northeast Region through sponsorship and their ads in The Nor'easter, our
40-page (plus or minus), monthly magazine which has won Porsche Club of
America's (PCA) national award several times as the best newsletter in
the Club. To express our appreciation in turn, we encourage our readers
to support these businesses.
With approximately 1,500 members — one of the largest regions in the PCA — ads in The Nor'easter reach a wide audience of discerning readers. NER has also won the PCA award for the fastest-growing region in the Club. What does this all mean? Advertising in The Nor'easter reaches a fast-growing population with one of the best newsletters in the Club. If you are interested in placing an ad in our magazine, please note the information in the two tables below and contact us. Advertising Rates / Ad Size Information
- Rates Discounts Available For MultipleMonth Runs
Rate discounts are available for 3 month ad runs (5%), 6 month ad runs (10%), or 12 month ad runs (15%). Payment for ads must be received in advance of the ad run schedule, with the due date the 15th of the month preceding the month of publication. This payment policy is applicable to multiple months of an ad run, as well, and the discount offered above applies only if the ad run is paid in full prior to the first month of publication. For an ad starting with the April issue, for example, both ad copy and payment in full is due March 15 whether for one month, 3 months, etc.. We encourage our clients to keep their ads simple — less is more. We also have a few technical guidelines: We print in black and white, using a 180-line screen. All ads should be delivered in black and white, electronic versions preferred — as opposed to film — in either MAC or PC format. Tif/tiff files produce even better results than jpg/jpeg or gif files, but we will accept any of these. Please note that we are still receiving ads in color which does not conform to our guidelines. Electronic versions of ads along with font information and graphics files should be provided via CD disk. As with any magazine, we expect that all ads are complete and need no manipulation. We prefer 360 dpi files in the finished size for best reproduction; however, for line art best results, increase the resolution to 800 dpi. Our overall page size is 8½" x 11"; ads should conform to the sizes listed in the table above to allow for proper spacing in our layouts. Please be sure to send the ad fees and CD-ROM disk to the right destinations. Many of our advertisers and/or their agencies have not read the guidelines, and their ads have been delayed until the following month! A check for the ad should be made out to
NER/PCA and sent to:
After checking the above specifications,
complete electronic copy on a CD should be sent to:
Please, no calls after 9:00 p.m.
