We thank our generous sponsor, Ira Porsche in Danvers, MA for supporting our fifth event of the season, New Hampshire International Speedway, a mere hour away from Boston. There will also be a DE Enduro for our Red and Black run groups which is a lot of fun.

Here’s your opportunity to follow up on a wildly successful, August DE day at NHIS, during the dog days of September. Summer will already be waning but our driving season will be far from over, and you won’t want to miss t his event. We’ve scheduled our three single day driving events at NHIS (all Mondays) with your convenience in mind. There’s no need to arrange for overnight accommodations, and you don’t need an extra day or two, to get to the track and back. Simply load up your car or trailer, drive to the track in the morning and be home for dinner the same night.

Dennis Macchio, head of the Bertil Roos Racing School at Pocono Raceway (formerly founder of Hot Shoe Racing at Bridgehampton) will be our visiting pro. Just two of Bertil Roos’ many well known graduates are Michael Andretti and Andy Lally. Dennis gave up his lucrative consulting business to race full time and that evolved into the acquisition of Bertil Roos. Dennis will be available for private coaching in your car for a reasonable fee. He’ll be around the track all day and will welcome discussing your particular situations.

Please read the General Information document below and Track Chair Bruce Hauben’s track Rats Messages carefully. The Track Rats Messages are sent by E-mail closer to the event and often contain critical, last-minute updates. With that in mind, make sure that Registrar Mark Keefe has your latest weekday and weekend E-mail address(es). Also make sure your spam filter accepts "mxk at charter.net", "bmh993 at PorscheNet.com", and "sartick at comcast.net" (substitute "@" for " at ").

As a participant at this NER event, you are required to print out, review carefully, and bring to the event all four elements in Table 1. These will not be handed out at the event! You will also need to be familiar with all the General Information and Tech Regs in Table 2. Any questions on the latter may be directed to Scrutineer Bruce Hauben.

Directions for NHIS may also be found below. Because the track is so close to Boston, there will not be a caravan, but for those who have never been before, when you come in to the main entrance of the track premises, park your car in line and walk up to the registration building to sign in and get your wrist band.

If you have a firewall, be sure to enter porschenet.com (or whatever form your firewall requests) as a safe site. Meanwhile,
allow some of the files at least a minute to download. These are important and contain timely information for the upcoming event. Check back to see updates and links that will become live as the event nears.
