This car presents and runs very well (passed 2009 Massachusetts Safety Inspection) but is not concours. Buyer is responsible for satisfaction of condition before purchase. This is a 38 year old esoteric sports car and is sold as-is where-is.

Excellence Magazine Market Update November 09 lists Good condition 1972 914s at $10,053. This car also has factory Manuals (~$1,000), the 2.0 Liter engine and the side-shift transmission; both considered significant improvements. In the model year 1973 the 914 was produced with 2.0 Liter engines and side-shift transmissions, “which was responsible for a tremendous improvement in shift action” as stated in the Excellence Update. Having both of these upgrades one could consider the performance of this car equivalent to a 1973, which the Update places at $14,389 in Good condition.
