Taste of the Track at NHMS to Benefit Angel Flight
This year NER's charity events are once again to benefit Angel Flight, NE -- an organization of private pilots who provide transportation to medical facilities for those in outlying areas of the Northeast US.  During our NHMS Driver Ed event we will be offering opportunities for your guests to take a Taste of the Track ride with one of our instructors during a regular track session.

In case your family and friends missed out on the opportunity at previous DE events, or if they want a repeat performance, here are the details.

Taste of the Track:. Individuals over 18 years of age can be a passenger in an instructor’s car during one of the regular run groups during the event. To take advantage of this opportunity, the individual must complete an application form, sign the NER waiver, have a wristband, be wearing an approved helmet (Snell 2000 or later), a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. A donation of $40 is requested and, of course, more is appreciated.

How to sign up:   You can sign up for one of these rides by coming to Control (located in the hot pits near start-finish).  The individuals participating must appear in person to complete the application form and sign the waiver and get a wristband. If you have a particular instructor in mind, please talk with him or her and determine which run group works best for you both and then tell the folks in Control when you fill our your application form.  If you don’t know which instructor to ask, we will locate one for you. Unfortunately, we can’t offer Parade Laps during the lunch break since it is only 30 minutes.
