Hallelujah !!  Spring is finally here and we’re driving on the track.

Our first event of the year will feature a Driving School for all Novices with three (3) or fewer days on the track. We want to encourage those of you who’ve never driven on a race track to come up and sample the learning experience as well as the thrills of finding out what you and your Porsche are capable of doing. VERY IMPORTANT – the Novice Ground School is open to both women and men. In the morning the Novices will participate in braking, slalom, and skid pad exercises under the tutelage of NER Instructors and then drive the track in your own run group with experienced instructors in the afternoon. These activities will be incorporated around our regular DE, so EVERYONE is invited to NHIS on May 8.

To make everyone’s decision easier we have VERY low rates of $75 for Novices, $140 for Yellow through Black run group drivers, and $25 for Instructors.  Due to scheduling needs we will not run an Enduro at this event.

NHIS is an easy hour north of Boston and is the site of many televised races, including Nextel Cup. What is not usually shown on TV is their 1.6 mile road course with 12 turns and some nice elevation changes making for a good learning environment for Novices and challenging for the more advanced drivers. Garages are available for rent on an assigned, first come basis for $25. Reserve garage space with your check to the Registrar in advance. Instructors will get a garage gratis…but you MUST request one when registering.

Directions to the track will be included in your event packet. As all communications will be via email please ensure that your email address is legible on your registration form.

Registration Opens March 1, 2006
