Many drivers name The Glen as one of their favorite tracks. With that in mind, the Northeast region invites you to join us for our annual, two-day event at "The Glen" — also known as "New York's Thunder Road" —- a great track with a lot of history in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. This is a beautiful area and offers much to see and do, from boating and lake activities … to wine tasting … to exploring the dramatic state parks and beautiful waterfalls (a vintage t-shirt extols the beauties of the "Gorgeous Gorges") … to browsing in the shops. There is even a great ice-cream shop in town where you are bound to run into fellow drivers! So bring your family along!

On Thursday, we will hold a DE Enduro for our Red and Black run groups. While similar to a Club Racing Enduro, it is run under strict DE passing and driving rules. Both participants and spectators at all our DE Enduros rave about this part of the event.

For those of you heading to Mosport that weekend, a number of people will be caravanning to Bowmanville Thursday after the event, so turn your CBs to Channel 24 and join us!

All our events are open to members in good standing of PCA, BMW and other car clubs. We also accept other accredited marques (check with Bruce Hauben, Track Chair first). Registration openes March 1. Fees for the 2 day are posted elsewhere on the website.   2006 Northeast Region 2006 DE Dates and information
N.B. Your registration is not considered valid until our registrar receives your check.

For those new to The Glen, there are garages that are available for rent on an assigned, first-come/first-serve basis for a fee of $30 for the event. The garages are a place to keep your car and gear out of the sun/wind/rain and many of our participants find them to be very convenient. A check must be sent to the Registrar in order to reserve space. Instructors should check out their incentives at www.PorscheNet.com/TrackProg.html.

You may also contact Mark Keefe, our Track Registrar or Bruce Hauben, Track Chair before 8 p.m. Contact information is also under the Track Committee heading at the link above.
