The privacy policy of the Porsche Club of America Northeast Region is as follows:

The use and operation of www.PorscheNet.com is for the members of the Porsche Club of America (PCA). This is a non-profit, non-commercial car enthusiast club. We do not provide to anyone information about our members, their interests, their cars, their personal information or data. Any information which we may have, such as Email addresses of members, is not released outside the Porsche Club of America. It is not made available for mailing lists or to businesses, even if they are involved in Porsche car related activities. It is not made available to Porsche or any of its affiliate companies.

Members of the club may publish their Email addresses at their own discretion in our "Members On Line" pages. This is their personal decision. A member's email address is not published there unless specifically authorized by the member and is listed in such a way as to foil web bots. Members electing to make their email address known via the Members On Line pages must understand that those pages are publicly available on the Internet. They are visible to people and organizations outside PCA. We do not control who may look at those email addresses or how they may use them. A member who no longer wishes to advertise his/her email address in these pages may have it removed by submitting a request to the Webmaster@PorscheNet.com.

Members may also obtain a PorscheNet.com email alias to relay email to their personal Internet account. PorscheNet.com provides this service to members of the Porsche Club of America for an annual administrative fee. We do not make public or provide to any organizations or any people information about these aliases. We do not make this information available outside or within PCA. A member's email alias is considered private and personal information. The user of a particular email address and alias is kept confidential to the PorscheNet.com Webmaster and the Northeast Region Treasurer. The Webmaster must know this information to program and manage the alias for the member. The Treasurer must know this information to collect the annual administrative fee from the member. This information is not provided to any other members of PCA, or the Northeast Region of PCA.

We do not send out spam mailings. However, we cannot control what other people send to our members. Our email alias relay system does no filtering of email messages, content, senders, receivers, etc.. We do not monitor or collect email. We do not send "cookies" to any user browsers accessing www.PorscheNet.com. We do not rate limit user access.

We do not provide specific statistics about member behavior, usage patterns, traffic levels, number of users, etc. to anyone or organization outside of the Porsche Club of America. We may publish information on the total number of users accessing www.PorscheNet.com or the total traffic. But if this is done we do not publish or make available any information about any user or network which may have accessed wwww.PorscheNet.com.

We operate a Mart on www.PorscheNet.com for use by PCA members to buy and/or sell their cars, parts, etc. This Mart is not for general use by businesses, Porsche-related or otherwise. It is a service for our club members. Specific use and policy statements regarding operation and use of the mart are contained on the TheMart front page.

Special Rules

We do not allow members to early apex their JavaScript. We do not allow access from Ferrari.com (the mortal competition). We do not consider the Porsche SUV a real Porsche, so those members are not real members.
