Again I am simply amazed at the power of the mart that our region support. Within days of posting a for sale ad for Linda's 944 Turbo S on our web site, I am blessed with 6 inquiries within days. Yes it now has a new home with our illustrious Membership Secretary, to whom I sold a 944 to a number of year's back. In addition I sold and bought some tires from current members and referred some other products to fellow members.
 
It looks like the snowy early March days are behind us and we can all look forward to the serious driving season, and what start we have. Already this month (March), the advanced tech session drew 40 plus to EPE for a detailed discussion of car preparation. Then on the following Sunday over 80 folks showed up for the annual Newcomers Meeting. Many of those in attendance were transfixed by the many videos, while others made the rounds of tables set up with information concerning the various activities we offer throughout the year.
 
April brings us the always-popular autocross school, now limited to true novices, and our first NHIS track school in late April. Of course the long sold out Ramble to Chatham on Cape Cod also takes place this month. Finally the gang at Autobahn will host the Beginners Tech which at this writing has almost 30 entrants preregistered.
 
Nationally the recent Tech Tactics in Springfield had a record draw of almost 170 interested members of the Zone, and the Parade not scheduled until August was sold out within the first few weeks.
 
Keep your eyes open for more exciting meetings as Bruce has laid out a comprehensive group of fun filled days to enjoy the driving season. Also plan to purchase those clothing items from Susana in the store. We have new logo items and those great new chairs with armrests and a cupholder along with the great looking logo stitched onto the back.
 
Also remember the 30th of this month is your deadline for redeeming the PCNA coupons, interestingly enough only a handful of the 1300 plus coupons mailed were returned for bad addresses.
 
Look for my annual predictions for the autocross season next month, we now have 2 new classes one for twin turbos (stock) and a newly developed "super modified" for race cars.
